Zlatibor has specific climate and characteristic continental and air currents, a harmonious relationship between the forested areas of christmas trees, pine trees, spruce and spacious meadows, covered with vivid plants, rivers and streams, unpolluted air, healthy and clean water and many sunny days during the year. Thanks to all that, Zlatibor has developed into a famous tourist center, with the longest tourist tradition among the mountains in Serbia.

On this five hektar location, next to the church of St. Peter and Paul, old wooden cottages were brought from all parts of Zlatibor, in order to present them here and guard them. The museum consists of two main parts. The first is a set of houses that have preserved their original appearance and purpose, and they constitute a permanent museum setting formed in two gardens. The second group consists of houses that have preserved their original appearance, but their purpose has been changed and adapted to the tourist needs. There are hall, souvenir shop, cottage, apartment building…
Mokragora, Mećavnik, Sargan Eight
Mokra Gora is a picturesque mountain village between the mountains Tara and Zlatibor. A popular attraction is the renovated old narrow track railway "The Sargan Eight" which goes 300 m up the hill making a real perfect number eight. On the nearby hill Mećavnik there is an ethno village built in local ethno style by the film director Emir Kusturica. Visitors can breathe in the atmosphere, try local food and buy hand - made souvenirs.
Stopica cave
With an entry hole 35 meters wide and 18 meters high, Stopica's cave seems impressive at first sight. It is 2 km long and consists of 5 units. It is not particularly rich in cave decorations, but is famous for “siga“ tubes. Stopića cave is situated on the north-eastern side of Zlatibor mountain between the villages Rožanstvo and Trnava. It is 250km away from Belgrade, 30km from Užice and only 19km from Zlatibor tourist centre. The main road Zlatibor-Sirogojno goes above the cave and there is an access path from it to the very cave.
Domestic traditional cuisine
In addition to the apartment itself, along the ski slope, there is a restaurant - a cottage with a traditional kitchen "Cottage at Milunka". A restaurant of national cuisine built in ethno style will delight you with local specialties, excellent ambience and truly excellent service. They offer, of course, a set local specialites as well as various ready-made dishes and grilled dishes. In addition to a large selection of national dishes, the hosts stand out a selection of local brandy and wine.
